When I heard the theme of this issue of The Network was money, I instantly started thinking about inflation and what will happen to society as the value of money decreases. I wanted to represent the earth being destroyed by the thing it relies on most; therefore, I created a makeshift globe with fake paper money continents and, with some help, lit the globe on fire to show the fake money speeding up the destruction of the globe—exactly like real money might lead to or intensify issues in the future.
